Minister Joy A. Massenburg is a native of Petersburg, VA. She is the middle child
of three siblings born to Willie E. Massenburg, Sr. and Joyce W. Massenburg. Joy attended Old Dominion University. She has been with the St. Mark Deliverance Center in Portsmouth, VA for 24 years under the leadership of the late Chief Apostle Marion Jones, now Overseer Martha Provo.
Joy attended the St. Mark Ministerial Training Institute and graduated and was licensed under the ministry in 2005. She currently serves as the ministry’s Youth Pastor. She also serves as President of the St. Mark Ministries Youth Council. Joy actively serves in various areas. Some of which include: The Adjutancy, Youth Dept, Singles Ministry, Education Dept, Drama Guild, St. Mark Movement Ministry, Hospitality Committee, Public Relations Dept, Volunteers, Proposal Board, and the Executive Planning Council. She is on the board of The Outlet Avenue Youth Organization. In October 2015, she graduated from the Eagles International Training Institute Mime, 2016 Pageantry Course, and 2017 Intercessory Prayer Course.
Joy desires to see the will of God performed in her life and the lives of others. Two of her favorite scriptures are Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”; and Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
