Overseer Martha Provo has been employed with St. Mark Deliverance Center for over 24 years on the clerical staff and as the Executive Secretary. She also served as the personal secretary to our beloved Chief Apostle Jones for 17 years. It was during those years that she was mentored and trained in the inner workings of the business and the ministry of St. Mark Deliverance Center (SMDC).
During her career, Overseer Provo served in the U.S. Navy for almost 16 years as a Cryptology Administrator and Counselor. And, she studied Business Management at the University of Hawaii, while stationed there. After her military career, she went on to work with the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) as a Certified Counselor, and later became a Secretary for the 700 Club
in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2002, she was ordained as a Minister. And in 2011, she was ordained as an Elder at St. Mark Deliverance Center. And, over the years she has served in many various roles throughout the ministry.
Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, she was installed as the Senior Pastor of St. Mark Deliverance Center in August 2017, standing on the scripture, “Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too difficult or too wonderful for You”. –Jeremiah 32:17 (AMP)
Overseer Provo was married to her beloved husband, Chief Adjutant Gregory Provo, Sr. for over 31 years until the Lord took him home; and they were blessed with two children, Takisha and Gregory Jr., and have nine grandchildren.
She is an anointed vessel who continuously yields herself to the call of God. She is avid in community outreach, and her heart’s desire is to empower God’s people and reach souls for Kingdom building. Overseer Provo has a passion to see people strive for excellence and she strives to encourage anyone that comes in her path.
